Frequently Asked Questions

What size loans do you offer?

We can arrange loans and mortgages for any amount from £5,000 to £100,000.

Over what term can a loan be taken?

Our loans are usually available over 5 to 25 years dependent on the client’s age.

What can the loan be used for?

Almost any reason, there are few restrictions. It could be for debt consolidation to reduce your client’s outgoings or perhaps it’s to carry out some home improvements.

Do you offer loans for tenants?

No. We specialise in secured loans and so all clients must be homeowners.

Do you lend the money yourselves?

No. We are a packager for a number of lenders so when your enquiry is sent to us we will prepare the application for the most appropriate lender. When everything has been received that the lender requires to complete the loan we forward the details to them so that they can issue the funds.

If the mortgage is in joint names must the secured loan also be in joint names?

Yes. However if a mortgage is in just one name the secured loan can be in joint names as long as one of the people on the loan is named on the mortgage.

Additionally, if a mortgage is in sole names but the client is married generally the loan must also be in joint names with the spouse.

How often are commissions paid?

We pay commission fortnightly on a Friday by either BACS or cheque.

Will I have to tell you when I need paying?

No. Each fortnight we run a report to show all cases that have recently completed so that commissions are paid automatically to you.

Can the loan be repayed before the end of the original term?

Yes. You are free to repay the loan whenever you deem necessary but please be aware that some lenders may charge an early repayment penalty.

Will this affect my commission?

If a loan is repaid early this may result in a claw-back of the commission you have been paid. Please refer to the terms and conditions for agents.
